Oklahoma lawyer John Andrew Chaffin is the founder and principal of the Law Office of John Andrew Chaffin, a full service law practice dedicated to providing client-centered, quality conscious legal representation to clients across Oklahoma.  Mr. Chaffin is a graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law and received his Bachelor's degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  He is admitted to practice law in all 77 Oklahoma State District Courts, all Oklahoma Municipal Courts, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.  Mr. Chaffin's areas of practice primarily encompass Oklahoma divorce and family law, DUI, DWI, criminal defense, parole, and post-conviction relief, but he also focuses on a variety of general practice matters.  After obtaining his license to practice law, Mr. Chaffin began his legal career as an associate attorney for Litigation Consortium in Oklahoma City where he practiced exclusively in the areas of securities investment fraud and financial services arbitration and litigation.  He later served as In House Counsel for a prominent medical center in Oklahoma City where he was responsible for regulatory compliance and management of the company's multi-million dollar budget.  In addition to managing his own law practice and routinely appearing in judicial and administrative proceedings, Mr. Chaffin devotes a considerable amount of his time to legal consulting.  He also currently serves on both the Bench and Bar and Law Related Education Committees in the Oklahoma Bar Association.
